2024 Here For You Award Winner: Hope Hospice!

We’re thrilled to share that Hope Hospice has been named the 2024 recipient of The GVTC Foundation’s Here For You Award! 

This annual award is an opportunity for The GVTC Foundation to honor outstanding nonprofits making a difference in our community. Each year, GVTC employees have the privilege of selecting the winner by voting for the nonprofit that inspires them the most. This year, your GVTC team chose Hope Hospice as the winner—and we had the joy of surprising them with a $5,000 donation!

Celebrating Hope Hospice

Hope Hospice has been a cornerstone of care in our community since 1984. Over the past 40 years, they’ve provided compassionate end-of-life care to more than 20,000 patients and their families. What makes them truly remarkable is their commitment to ensuring no one is turned away due to financial hardship.

Their work goes beyond patient care, offering programs like:

• The Community Assistance Program, which ensures financial need, is never a barrier to care.
• Children’s and Adult Grief Programs, providing vital support to those coping with loss.
• The Cardiac Care Program, helping patients manage symptoms and avoid hospital readmissions.
• We Honor Veterans, a program designed to meet the unique needs of those who have served our country.

With 24/7 support provided by registered nurses, a low nurse-to-patient ratio, and a compassionate approach to every individual, Hope Hospice is a shining example of how nonprofits uplift our community.
