As many of you know, GVTC launched a first-of-its-kind member program that has further propelled GVTC forward in our community and industry. Introduced in June 2018 at the direction of the GVTC Board of Directors, the Member Dividend Program (MDP) offered GVTC members a 20% dividend (which was applied to reduce the payment) on their monthly statement simply for being a loyal cooperative member-customer!
The success of the company is directly tied to the commitment of each GVTC member, and the GVTC Board saw no better way to say thank you than to return a portion of its non-patronage profits back to you. MDP is another way that GVTC is creating more value for its members.
None of this would have been possible, however, without the leadership and vision of our GVTC Board of Directors Chairman, Charles J. “Chuck” Knibbe. Chuck has been Chairman for 23 years, providing valuable insight that has helped GVTC to continually innovate and grow. His leadership has played an enormous role in GVTC creating an environment where something like MDP is even possible.
Overall, GVTC’s goal is to serve its members and community to the best of our ability, in the hopes of enhancing the quality of life in our communities with our premium services. MDP, in its first year, is just another way GVTC is creating Fiercely Loyal Customers!
