A PIN to Keep the Monsters Out
Your 4-digit PIN is your magical key to keeping content safe and family-friendly.
- Go to Settings → PIN → Change PIN
- The first time you open Parental Controls, you’ll be asked to create a PIN
- Use it anytime you adjust settings or unlock restricted channels
- Once set, you can block content by movie or TV rating, such as PG-13 or R

Parental Controls: Guard Your Little Ghouls
No tricks here, just peace of mind.
- Create your 4-digit PIN
- Go to Settings → Add a User Profile → Edit User → Parental Controls
- Enter your PIN, then block content by ratings
- To lift restrictions, enter your PIN again
Remember: Each device is haunted on its own. You’ll need to set controls on each one separately.
Search That’s Wickedly Easy
Looking for your favorite scary flick or family Halloween special?
- With an Amino box, press the Voice-Activated Google Search button on your remote
- Search across GVTC channels and your installed apps
- To customize searches, go to Settings → System → Device Preferences → Google Assistant → Searchable Apps
Add and Remove Apps Without Fear
Finding new apps is easy, and uninstalling them is even less spooky.
- From your home screen, scroll to the Apps symbol or press the apps button
- Open the Google Play Store to search and install
- To uninstall, go to Settings → System → Apps → See All Apps and remove the app
Apps even auto-arrange by your usage, so your favorites appear at the front.

- Press the Guide button on your remote
- Use arrows or CH+ / CH– buttons to browse

- Press OK twice to schedule recordings
