This holiday season, The GVTC Foundation is thrilled to kick off the giving spirit with a $20,000 Partnership Donation to two phenomenal local non-profits! Each year, we come together to uplift our community, and this year is no exception. We are honored to support the Bulverde Spring Branch Angel Tree Project and Blessings in a Backpack-Boerne, TX, with $10,000 each, helping make a real impact in the lives of children and families in need.
The Bulverde Spring Branch Angel Tree Project is all about spreading holiday magic. Every Christmas, they work tirelessly to fulfill the heartfelt wishes of local children, creating a Christmas that feels truly special. With guidance from schools and churches, the Angel Tree Project carefully curates wish lists that speak directly to each child’s hopes and dreams. Thanks to The GVTC Foundation’s donation, these children will experience the joy of unwrapping gifts handpicked just for them!
But we didn’t stop there! Another cause close to our hearts is child hunger, which is why we’re also supporting Blessings in a Backpack Boerne. This amazing organization fights hunger year-round by providing backpacks filled with nutritious, easy-to-eat foods to kids in need across all thirteen schools in Boerne Independent School District. For 38 weekends throughout the school year—and during holiday breaks—children receive backpacks filled with wholesome items like granola bars, mac and cheese, peanut butter, and even fresh fruit. It’s about much more than food; it’s about giving children the strength and energy to learn, grow, and enjoy their childhoods without worry.
