GVTC Communications Robert Hunt, GVTC executive & USTelecom chairman, recently participated in a broadband infrastructure summit recently hosted by USTelcom at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. The event focused on broadband infrastructure investment and policy under the Trump Administration, which is calling for $1 trillion in infrastructure improvements. Mr. Hunt supports more rural broadband investment, as new infrastructure programs are being conceived on the national level. Panelists included Mark Jamison, Advisor to the Trump FCC transition team. USTelecom is the nation’s premier trade association representing service providers and suppliers for the telecom industry.
